European Movement Shropshire
The movement’s immediate objective, as the UK leaves the European Union, is to campaign to protect the hard-won rights and standards which we have enjoyed as a member state. In particular, employment rights, climate and environmental protections, food and farming standards, data protection, peace and security, consumer rights and crucially the rights so far enjoyed by EU nationals and UK nationals in the EU. The long-term objective is to campaign to re-join the EU.

Fairtrade Shrewsbury
Fairtrade Shrewsbury exists to promote the understanding and use of Fairtrade products. It can provide speakers at meetings, in schools, churches or community groups, and can offer sale / return stalls. It also helps to run the Fairtrade stall in The Market Hall. This is open on the usual market days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 9.30am to 3pm. The stall is staffed by volunteers, and any profits are ploughed back into the stall or to support the work of Fairtrade.

Fossil Free Shropshire
Grassroots coalition of organisations and individuals seeking to persuade Shropshire County Pension Fund to commit to fully divesting itself from fossil fuels amid the climate emergency. This creates the opportunity to re-invest in green energy. One of the many Fossil Free divestment groups in the UK.

Global Justice Shropshire
Campaigns against the root causes of poverty and inequality and for a greener and fairer world. Organises speaker meetings and runs an informal economics book club.

Green Shropshire Xchange
This is the environment network of the groups across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin working on sustainable issues. These include affordable warmth, food waste, climate change, transport and electric vehicles.

Shrewsbury Environment Centre
Gives the public access to information about waste reduction, recycling, upcycling, biodiversity and permaculture, as well as hosting displays by local groups and artists. Offers an informal meeting area for environmental groups and talks.
Hosts upcycling and art and craft workshops on demand. Runs a Litter Picking Club - members may check out litter picking kit for clean-up projects.
Occupies the first and ground floors of Unit 19-26, Riverside Mall, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY1 1PH.

Shropshire Climate Action Partnership
The partnership's main aim is to produce an action plan to achieve net zero carbon emissions across the Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin council areas by 2030. People can sign up as an individual supporter or as a member organisation via the partnership's website. The partnership was launched in August 2020, produced version 1 of its action plan by the end of 2020 and will work with stakeholders to deliver net zero. This initiative has support from Green Shropshire Xchange, Shropshire Wildlife Trust, the councils and other organisations.

Shropshire People’s Assembly Against Austerity
This is a group of activists motivated to fight austerity. The group is not party political, although of course fighting austerity is a political activity. Members are particularly concerned to fight cuts in the NHS and in Education. They are also concerned about inadequate public transport in Shropshire. Other topics demand the group's attention from time to time, e.g. a voter registration drive. Its activities range from petition work in the street, to public meetings, to leafleting at events or locations.

SSIF was formed over a decade ago to create understanding and diversity within the different Faith Communities in South Shropshire. It has a diverse membership and conducts many different events throughout the year to Celebrate our Diversity.

Sustainable Bridgnorth
Environmental grassroots organisation working towards a more sustainable and low carbon community in the town of Bridgnorth and its surrounding district. Leads on and supports a number of initiatives in the town, including the #PreventPointlessPlastic campaign, and belongs to the Shropshire Against Pointless Plastic (SAPP) Coalition.
